Elderly care & caring for people with physical disabilities
Our Live-In Care Service includes caring for:
- Elderly and Frail, Dementia/Alzheimer’s
- Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis
- Spinal Injury, Paralysis, Cystic Fibrosis
- Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy and Palliative Care
- Temporary Live-in care upon hospital discharge.
Live-in Care for people with learning disabilities, and other life-affecting conditions, or challenging behaviour.
Our Live-in Care Service includes caring for people with:
- Learning Disabilities
- Autism and Aspergers Syndrome
- Down’s and Lowe’s Syndromes
- Epilepsy • Challenging Behaviour
- Self-Harming
- Problems of Drug or Substance Misuse.
Supported Living with a Live-in Carer
The specialist Service we provide will consist of any or all of the following:
- Understanding body language
- Prompting and support with cooking and domestic work such as laundry, shopping, cleaning
- Accompanying day centre activities, hobbies and outings
- Documents (such as complaints and quality assurance surveys) with pictures and symbols (makaton)
- Attending meetings and reviews
- Reablement and Respite Care
